DESCRIPTION:What supports and resources are available for your child this summer?\n\n\n\nThis workshop will help parents and caregivers prepare for a successful summer by exploring strategies for maintaining routines\, supporting social-emotional well-being\, and creating structure at home while still allowing for rest and fun. Participants will learn about local programs and community resources\, ways to prevent regression of academic and executive functioning skills\, and tips for easing transitions into new schedules and activities. \n\n\n\n\n\nAmerican Sign-Language interpreters can be requested on the registration form or by email. Requests MUST be submitted by June 3rd.

This workshop will explore common online risks\, including scams\, cyberbullying\, online predators\, and oversharing personal information. Participants will learn practical strategies for teaching digital boundaries\, recognizing warning signs\, supporting safe social media use\, and building online safety skills that match their child’s developmental and communication needs. \n\n\n\nAmerican Sign-Language interpreters can be requested on the registration form or by emailing Josh at J.Garay@taconicresources.org.
