Mandi is the Mobile Benefits Counselor and peer advocate at TRI. She joined the team in June 2012 as the Independent Living Skills Specialist. Mandi interned at TRI while pursuing her A.A.S. in Community Mental Health in 2011, graduating from Dutchess Community College. She then became a volunteer while she continued to work as the Community Outreach Specialist and Test Coordinator at DCC’s Office of Accommodative Services. Mandi has worked with diverse populations including victims of domestic violence, at-risk-youth and individuals experiencing homelessness.

Mandi spends her free time painting and creating decorative sweets. She hopes to incorporate her passion of art and pastries within the human services field, with the goal of one day owning her own accessible bakery café, and teaching baking skills to people with various disabilities.
