Virtual workshop- SSI/SSDI Application Process: Empower Yourself, Apply with Confidence
June 2 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am
If you are under the age of 64 and inquiring about how to apply for *long-term* Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), attending a workshop would answer most of your questions about the eligibility process, how long it would take to be approved, and what to do if denied.
These workshops are open to the general public and are geared specifically to individuals and residents of Dutchess County, NY. Care Managers, social workers, and your loved ones who assist you with your disability are encouraged to attend to assist you with your application.
The virtual Zoom meetings are not in a Webinar format. Your display name and camera/video (if you choose to turn on) will be visible to other attendees. The virtual meeting set-up is as if you were attending a workshop in person. Do not share any confidential identifying information about yourself or others in group settings. You can schedule a private one-on-one meeting with the benefits counselor after attending the workshop.
