Community Event: Veterans Social

Please join us on April 30th, 2026 at 2pm for an event centered around Veterans in our community with speakers from Dutchess County organizations, as well as our Independent Living Specialist, Ian Ifill.

Join us for a FREE social gathering for Veterans
geared towards building community, sharing resources, and networking socially.

Objectives:

  • Educate participants about VA Pension benefits, including Aid & Attendance, and Housebound options.
  • Inform about local and VA-supported homelessness prevention programs, such as HUD-VASH and HERO.
  • Assist veterans in initiating pension and housing applications on-site.
  • Provide resources for one-on-one counseling and peer support networks.
