NY ABLE Presentation with the NY Comptroller’s Office.

The Achieving Better Life Experiences (ABLE) Account program is a powerful tool for individuals with disabilities and their families. Eligibility for certain services and supports are often bound by resource limits for individuals with disabilities. An ABLE account allows individuals and their families to save beyond those resource limits, promoting access to a more independent life. On Thursday, June 29th 2023 from 11 am-3 pm, we celebrated disability pride and culture at our 2nd annual TRI Inclusion Festival! Our event featured an array of accessible, engaging, and fun activities on the beautiful grounds of the Home of FDR Historic Site, located at 4097 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY. Come visit again next year!

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. We encourage everyone to register separately. Please do not share your confirmation email.

These workshops are intended for the beneficiary (SSI/SSDI/DAC recipient) as well as their Representative Payee. Human Services Professionals are welcome to attend, however we encourage the beneficiary to be present.

Upcoming Workshops on “SSI & SSDI While Working”

Plan ahead! Don’t risk an overpayment from Social Security! Understand how you can earn more income without risking your benefits. Workshops will be held the third Wednesday of every month from 3-4 pm. Obtain clarification on Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Medicaid Buy-In Program, Medicare, Ticket to Work program, Plan for Achieving Self Support (PASS) and more! Closed captioning provided during the PowerPoint presentation.
