Clear Masks for consumers, interpreters and others

Wearing a mask makes it hard for Deaf/Hard of Hearing to see/hear what is being said without seeing the lips

3 masks with clear windows to show lips for interpretation.

Wearing a mask makes it hard for Deaf/Hard of Hearing to see/hear what is being said without seeing the lips, especially when depending on lipreading.
With the help of the community MHIS is able to secure clear masks for interpreters, consumers, special education teachers and others.
If you would like a mask, please contact Jeanine Byrnes at j.byrnes@taconicresources.org

Please note this is on a first come first serve basis as supplies are limited.

If you would like to donate for TRI/MHIS to purchase more masks for our community, please click the donate link, with a note that it is for masks.
