DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH AWARENESS on Spectrum News

On June 29th, Spectrum News highlighted TRI’s 2nd Annual Inclusion Festival kickstarting Disability Pride Month, celebrated every July as an opportunity to celebrate the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). TRI’s Executive Director, Lisa Tarricone was interviewed discussing the continued challenges and discrimination people with disabilities face 33 years after the passage of the ADA. TRI Inclusion Festival 2023

On Thursday, June 29th from 11 am-3 pm, we celebrated disability pride and culture at our 2nd annual TRI Inclusion Festival! Our event featured an array of accessible, engaging, and fun activities on the beautiful grounds of the Home of FDR Historic Site, located at 4097 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY.
