These workshops are designed as a self-help guide for you to discover and release your inner potential through writing and drawing, to help you find and love yourself, and to get in touch with your feelings and dreams.

This is not group therapy or an art class.

Invisible Illness Support Group

Illnesses include but are not limited to:
Lupus, Fibromyalgia, MS, Lyme Disease, Autoimmune Disorders & Chronic Pain…
This support group is not lead by licensed therapist, but guided by a Peer Advocate. The Support Group’s purpose is to be an uplifting place where group members can not only share each other’s stories and struggles, but to share helpful information, and develop fun accessible recreational activities.

Taconic Resources for Independence, Inc. is looking for qualified and enthusiastic individuals who are willing to contribute as active board members. Our board is a working board involved with setting policy, strategic planning, and fund-raising for the organization. Members are expected to contribute at least 4 hours per month to board meetings and sub-committee meetings as required.


If you feel you would be qualified and are interested in this opportunity to contribute to this wonderful organization, and the community it serves, please contact us and leave a message for the Board of Directors.
